Cabin Crew Selection
I was one of the luckiest candidates to get the opportunity to be part of one of the best Airlines in the World.
Did you know only 3% of candidates out of approximately
144,000 applicants each year are successful. Two months of intense training
involved learning how to provide first-class customer service to
safety/emergency procedures along with medical training.
Anything from learning about French wines to evacuating
an aircraft in 90 seconds, where effective communication and time
management is paramount. Training is retested on a yearly basis ensuring you
are competent at all times.
Eighty-seven countries later I can truly say I`ve grown
immensely both personally and professionally. From ensuring you are
immaculately groomed for a 3 am flight to reaching the briefing ahead of time,
it takes a certain type of person to flourish in this role. Having traveled to
each and every corner of the globe, learning how to work around the clock,
working with over 160 different nationalities, having had enriched cultural
experiences.
