Cabin Crew Salary Details
Not serving the notice period made me lose my previous month's
salary, and also I did not receive my work experience letter. That was not a very smart move from my side, as it would have put a bad
mark on my Flying Career, even though I got the second job. Soon I realized that I never made such a mistake ever again.
Almost every airline keeps a month's salary as a deposit with them, just in case of any incident/accident. Example: You join a company on January 5th, your Basic salary will be credited by 25-30th January. Let's say you start flying from April 10th, on the 25-30th April you will still get paid just your basic salary only. But on 25-30th May you will receive your Basic Salary + April Flying Hours Allowance.
Cabin Crew's salary actually depends on more on Allowance factor. The above-mentioned list you will get paid every month even if you fly or not. If you are on Non-Paid leave then only the Gross Salary amount will look different than what is fixed for every month. On top of this, you will also get paid your Flying Time Allowance and plus your Layover Allowance. Layover allowance amount is more for International destinations and less for Domestic destinations, because of the expenses requirements.
There are some airline companies who like to do a
reference check. If you are fresher than you are expected to provide Professional
Reference of your school/college/institute Teacher’s name, number, position. If
you are experienced then you have to give your manager/supervisor’s name & number.
Cabin Crew experienced candidates are expected to provide their Base Manager’s
and/or any Inflight Supervisor’s/Senior Cabin Crew Member's (who knows you well) name and number. Friends
and Family reference are easy, I don’t think I have to talk any details about
that.
It took a lot of support from my family and friends to achieve my goal, and finally, I achieved my dream. Maintaining myself in my best shape and spirit is my will power which still helps me to be myself.
That's all for today. will be back again with more writing. Thank You.
