Cabin Crew Life Beginning
Life of a Cabin Crew is very different from normal 9-5 working. Working hours and lifestyles are also different, but enjoyable I must say. You will have random working hours, and alarms will be your best friend. You may have to wake up at 10pm and go to sleep at 10am. You don’t need to worry to see these kinds of work shift timings, it will not be the same every day. Some days it will be like this, and sometimes you might have regular time work where you will need to wake up at 4am and you might land back by 4pm. Trust me, you will get used to it.
A special attraction of this job is that you will get immense opportunities to travel, whether on duty or on your official leave. As you will be eligible to get discounted tickets for yourself and for your family as well as friends. You will make new friends, as most probably you won't be flying with the same people every day. Yes, you can change your flight, can give a request to do your favorite flights, and will also get to fly with your cabin crew friends as well.
Every year you are eligible for 30 days of leave, you can travel anywhere you want around the world during those days. Almost every airline in the world is partners with some other airlines who fly to all the destinations, that Your airline might not go to. These are called Interline Services. So, you being the employee you will also get the privilege to book tickets on those other airlines as well. Example: Emirates airline flies from Dubai to eight selected destinations in India(Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Trivandrum & Cochin). But you live in Goa, so you can book Tickets on Emirates Employee Portal from Dubai till Goa, where you will get options of the Interline Airlines on the portal itself.
That's all for today.. will come back shortly with more information about cabin crew life. Thank you.
