Cabin Crew Interview Medicals

Hi Everyone, welcome back to my blog.
My name is Priyanka. This is my second post on Cabin Crew Tips.
There are a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 rounds in a Cabin Crew Interview. First-round is mainly the interviewer reading your resume, and asking to talk about yourself. As the interviewer will already be looking at your resume, try to talk about something that is not mentioned in your resume. This can be a challenge if you are a fresher, so you have to decide what to talk so that you can choose not to mention it in your resume and practice on the same topic. For example, you can avoid writing about your Hobbies and Interests, and you can speak about it in the interview.
Cabin Crew interview is all about how you speak and interact. All questions are asked with the same intention. It is understood that if you speak confidently, clearly, and with a smile in the interview, you will do the same with the Airline passengers as well. So, prepare yourself accordingly.
In some Domestic airline interviews, you can be asked to speak in Hindi also. Hindi is the most widely spoken language in India, so speaking in Hindi is one of the major requirements of the Indian cabin crew. It is not necessary to speak fluent, even manageable reading-writing Hindi is acceptable.
A short pre-medical check-up might take place. Your height and weight will definitely be checked. You need to maintain the required BMI according to your height. India based airlines require you to be in a range of 18-22 BMI range for Females, and for Male 20-24 BMI. You might be asked to declare any scars/marks and tattoos if you have any in the visible areas of your body. Small scars/marks are OK and acceptable by certain airlines, you can be asked to use some treatment to get rid of them or wear jewelry/watch to cover the same.
You can have tattoos/scars/marks in the areas which are dark in the picture above, the white areas must be clear.
Sometimes, you also might have an Ishihara Eye Test, to determine if you have any issues related to color-blindness. Example of Ishihara Eye Test -

By saying this, I will end this writing here today. I will be back soon with more tips about Cabin Crew. Thank you for reading.
