Why do you want to become a Cabin Crew?

Hello, dear friends have you ever wonder that Why do you want to become a cabin crew? Or What inspires you to become a cabin crew? Because even if you have not thought about it yet let us get to the answer as it is one of the most common questions asked in the interview.
It may seem very easy and straight forward to you to answer this question but my friends it is not that easy. Here the recruiter wants to check your inclination towards your career and with your reply to the question he would be able to evaluate if you are the perfect candidate or not.
What exactly the recruiter wants to know?
Do you think that they only want to know the answer to Why do you want to become a cabin crew? If that is so you are on the wrong track, my friend.
So let’s see what they exactly looking for:
1.   If you are here because you are really ambitious about your career and this role.
2.   If you want this job for lucrative perks.
3.   If you are only about money or passion.
4.   If your preferences are about just a cabin crew or to being the cabin crew of a particular airline.
5.   You are choosing this job just because you want to pluck off the tag of being unemployed or you want to invest in yourself with the airline.
So, you see there are many factors hidden in just one easy question.
Now I will be giving you a few statements and using it as your answer is a big NO. They are not only very common but every other candidate will be answering the same words which will make the recruiter feel that either the candidate has learned the answer or he/she is not even a little creative. So, let’s see what those sentences are:
1.   I want to become a cabin crew because I love traveling.
2.   Because I love meeting new people.
3.   You love learning about new cultures.
4.   It is my childhood dream.
5.   Because I want to get rich.
Please do not use all these sentences while answering these questions because with this question being asked you are expected to prove why you are the perfect candidate for this job. So, you really need to give an honest answer as well as the answer should be able to justify your choice and the recruiter’s doubts too.
In the form of the template, I am going to tell you which point you should include at what step and how you can design an excellent answer with the smart choice of words:
  1.   Begin your answer with the name of the particular airline company whose interview you are attending. Example – I want to be a cabin crew with your XYZ Airline because…
You must be wondering why I have used the company name so using the company name gives a reflection that you are really into this the company, not some generic cabin crew.
- Also, your answer is unique from others.
- It makes the recruiter listen to the answer.
- In the end, it is not about what or why you want to become a cabin crew but it is about what you will bring that only you can possess for the company.
- Here you are creating a WIN-WIN the situation for both you and the company.
2.   Talk Positive for Positive Response, you have to speak at least 2 sentences in favor of the company. Example I want to be a cabin crew with XYZ Airlines because...
- It is a leading and top choice of the passenger looking for excellent customer service.
- Now here you telling some good words makes the recruiter think that you know what you are choosing for yourself.
- Also, they will not stop you from speaking because you are speaking positively about the company.
3.   What inspires you, talk about how you were inspired to make this job as your life goal, what kept you motivated.
4.   Tell a long story short to elaborate on your inspiration and motivation to the recruiter. Example – I want to be a cabin crew with XYZ Airlines because…
- It is a leading and top choice of the passenger looking for excellent customer service. I decided to become a cabin crew when I was 4 years old and traveled with an airline. I was really inspired by the beautiful and independent females with the way they were providing us the excellent customer service with a warm gesture. So, all these years I have waited for the right time.
5.   Talk about the key traits of the cabin crew that you possess and know how to use them as well. Now start speaking about the key trait that makes cabin crew different from others such as: Flexible, Adaptable, Punctual, the desire of delivering excellent customer services, approachable, jovial, and many more.
