Aviation and Airline job CV/Resume submission
Many of
you most probably have heard loads of experiences that CV handover to the
Recruitment Team can be really scary. Although you have most probably an Invitation
to attend the Assessment Day, you will still be handling over the CV to the
Recruitment Team. So I am going to focus here on that. On those crucial seconds
when you basically HAVE TO BE REMEMBERED!
Of
course, the locations, and the timings will be provided on the airline’s careers
website. You are expected to be at the location during the set timings (I
STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU BE THERE WAY EARLIER) with the following
documents:
- Copy
of your CV
- Passport
size photos
- Full-length
photos
- Copy
of your passport
- Copy
of your highest education certificate or diploma in its original language,
- But
please always do double-check the airline’s careers website to know
exactly what do require?
And to highlight, I am sure that you already know that you are expected
to present yourself wearing business attire, a smile from your heart, and
answer all the questions that the recruitment team is going to ask you. Some of
the most popular questions asked by the recruiter would be “Why do you want to
become a cabin crew?”, “Why do you want to work for our airline?” or “What are
you currently doing?”
The
minutes or seconds in front of the recruitment team will decide if you move on
to another stage – one of the chosen candidates who will have the opportunity
to show more of their personality.
I want to
once again highlight the following points:
- Your
grooming,
- Your
confidence along with your fluency in English,
- Your
personality,
- The famous first impression that we talked about,
- Your
knowledge about the Airline,
Over here
I want to stress a very important point. We all have our Role Models and
someone that we look up to and often, intentionally or unintentionally we adopt
from them. I remember that during my Leadership training, the very first the exercise we had was to choose among powerful influencers and leaders and to
speak why we have chosen them. And all were famous, well known, and full of
integrity and credibility. From the very beginning, this defined us in which the direction our Leadership is going to be going, and based on this we were
getting the guidelines and the knowledge from the instructor.
That is why I
want to stress to you to please, follow and choose people that are going to
lift you up in every sense of the word. Remember an old saying that says: Tell
me who you hang out with, and I will tell you who you are. Well, it
is equally important here. I would say: Tell me who do you follow, and I will
tell you how big your chances to become Cabin Crew are.
